Going into 2022, I made many sewing related Resolutions/goals. Topping that list: sew a purse with zippers.   Little Lizard King came out with Bruges, a small purse pattern, perfect size for my daughter. Then Ash and Elm released their new base, Poplin. Everything was shaping up to be a great make. I ordered my fabric and hardware, and assembled my pattern. Then my zipper tape arrived. I ordered a metal zipper.  Panic mode activated! I didn't know how to sew metal zippers. Every video I watched said "never sew over a metal zipper". Another video said to get "Zipper Nippers"....
